How To Plan A July 4th Pizza Oven Party!

The Fourth of July, in the United States, is a time of celebration of the country and of spending time with friends and family! There is no better way to spend the day than kicking back in your backyard, maybe around the pool, but definitely around your Authentic Pizza Oven.

If you're planning a Fourth of July party, there is still time. Email or text your friends and family, ask them to bring a dish to pass and you will supply the other foods that you will prepare and cook in your pizza oven.

How To Plan A July 4th Pizza Oven Party!

  • Let guests know what time the party will start
  • Put your menu together
  • Get the swimming pool (if you have one) cleaned and ready for the guests If you don't have a pool and if children are coming to the party, buy a couple kiddie pools -- fill one with water they can splash around in and fill one with sand and get some buckets and shovels. The kids can have fun, while the adults relax and hang out.
  • Make certain you have extra towels and sunscreen for your guests
  • Stock up on adult beverages and beverages for the children and for those who don't want an adult beverage. (Note: have a place for your guests, who have been imbibing, to spent the night)
  • Set up tables and chairs under umbrellas or shaded areas
  • Don't forget the lighting for when the sun goes down. Hang solar powered lanters around the outside space in addition to solar powered lighting to light up any pathways in the yard

Plan the menu around your Authentic Pizza Oven

fourth of july pizza party Let's face it, the star of the show when you have a pizza oven is pizza! For your Fourth of July party you can pre-make pizzas with different toppings and serve your guests. Better yet, and a lot more fun, though is to set up a "pizza station" with various pizza toppings, including:

  • The usual suspects, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce
  • Garlic, or white, sauce
  • Broccoli
  • Mushrooms
  • Olives
  • Onions
  • Hot and sweet peppers
  • Other cheeses such as cheddar, provolone, American or shredded parm
  • Anchovies
  • Pineapple
  • Avocado (for topping after the pizza is cooked, as well)
  • Sundried tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Cooked burger
  • Pickle slices
  • Bacon
  • Ham
  • Smoked salmon
  • Let your imagination go wild

Have balls of dough (white, wheat and gluten free) available. Let the guests spread out the dough, top it with their favorites then watch you pop it into the pizza oven. There is nothing better than seeing your own creation bubbling and cooking as you watch!

Remember: Your Authentic Pizza Oven is capable of cooking up more than pizzas! You can cook entire meals in Portuguese Ceramics, roast a turkey and more.

Don't forget the dessert!

Choose your favorite fruits and put them on a thinly rolled out dough. The fruits, on the dough will break down into juicy, delicious toppings for the dough. Once the dough is cooked, slice the fruit pizzas and serve with a scoop of ice cream or alongside a vanilla yogurt. Yum!

Your Authentic Pizza Oven will be the star of your Fourth of July party, but you will be the master chef when it comes to your skill at the oven!
