Where are you from and a little background information about you?
My name is Drew Watkins. I'm retired from the military and live in Denver, Colorado. I chose Denver with the initial plan of enjoying a more subtle and free lifestyle. I've always enjoyed making pizzas so I thought I'd indulge in my passion for pizza making for local companies and travel during my downtime.
I purchased my Maximus Prime Oven with the intention of hosting pizza parties for my friends and neighbors and having fun exploring different pizza recipes and critiquing my dough and techniques. It quickly became a huge hit and presented some opportunities for it to become something more than just a hobby. After doing a few popups for some local dispensaries, I quickly learned my capabilities and the potential for this to become a business endeavor.
I had the incredible opportunity of participating in a segment for The OCN Eats Show which was a rewarding experience that further pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I'm currently working towards expanding my business to do more popups and catering, and even hosting parties for movie nights and old school game nights, or whatever type of occasion is desired.
Which oven did you choose and why did you choose an Authentic Pizza Oven?
I initially wanted to build my own oven but I came across Authentic Pizza Ovens while doing some research and was immediately drawn to the Maximus Prime Oven. It had the cooking capacity I was looking for, and its lighter weight of only 300lbs plus the quick heating time had me sold. Its mobility has become an added bonus now that I've made this more of a business endeavor versus what was essentially only going to be for home-based fun.
Did you build your setup or have someone else do it?
My setup has changed a bit as the purpose of the oven revolutionized into Limbo Pizza. At first, I had it set up in my garage and would take it out when using it. As I was presented with popup opportunities, I had a buddy lend me his fire utility truck which was a really cool truck setup. Now, I have my own truck so I can remain mobile.
What is your favorite thing to cook in your oven, and have you tried any recipes besides pizza?
Aside from pizzas, wings and veggies have been the only other things that I have cooked in the oven. However, by far my favorite thing to cook is pizzas. I enjoy experimenting and crafting new pizza recipes. There isn't anything that you can't top a pizza with!

Wing sauce of your choice
1. You can make your own pizza dough or even use a premade dough.
2. Start off with tossing some shredded buffalo chicken in a wing sauce of your choice.
3. Add the white sauce then top with bacon, red onions, and blue cheese crumbles.
4. Once your pizza is cooked then top with the green onions.
